Omega Alpha Ginkgo Biloba Liquid Extract, Standardized 24% Flavonoid glycosides, 6% Terpene lactones, 120ml

Extracts from the leaves of the Ginkgo biloba tree or more commonly known in the West as the Maidenhair tree have been widely used in Europe. In fact, it has been licensed in Germany for treatment of cerebral dysfunction with symptoms such as difficulties with memory, dizziness and ringing in the ears. It has also been used for treating problems such as poor circulation.

 

Extracts of Ginkgo biloba have been shown to increase blood flow to the brain. This increase in blood flow means that the brain is being supplied with a greater amount of oxygen and glucose which results in (1) an increase in attention span, (2) improvement of short term memory and absent-mindedness. Extracts of Ginkgo biloba have also been shown to offer some protection against Stroke in older individuals.
